“METRUM” in cooperation with “Hanza Līzings” introduces land surveying services with payment in instalments

METRUM links the introduction of the service with the regulations «Cadastre unit registration and cadastre data updating» passed by the government on August 1, 2006, as well as the passed regulations «Measuring of real estate units». Upon implementation of the new regulations, land surveying will become more expensive, more complex and longer. The new order stipulates 40 additional document and procedure innovations.«Inhabitants of rural areas will most be affected by the new regulations, because the rise in price for them will be steeper, in comparison with city land owners,» explains METRUM director Andis Strēlis. He points out that this red tape in the land surveying process will substantially affect the term in which people will be able to receive completed work. If previously the surveyors were able to visit the unit only once to complete their work, then from May 1, in accordance with regulations issued by the Cabinet, they will be under an obligation to visit the unit repeatedly to make sure that the border marks have been established in accordance with the requirements.Transport costs, repeated inspection of the unit, all adjacent land owners having to be present during the inspection to receive a protocol of border inspection and renewal, having to replace the previous single land border plan with different land border, encumbrance and situation plans – all these factors will affect both the costs and the term of work completion.
«To facilitate the ability of inhabitants of rural areas to carry out land surveying, we offer the possibility of paying for these services by instalments. Our experience shows that often people in rural regions already lack the funds to pay for the land surveying services right away,» points out METRUM marketing manager Aivars Gontarevs.
It is possible to execute the order in any of the 32 METRUM offices in Latvia, presenting a passport, documents confirming the property rights, and their graphical appendixes. In cooperation with «Hanza Līzings Nomaksa», the company offers a possibility to execute the order without an initial payment, with a monthly payment from LVL 5 and the term of payments of up to two years.
