The quality of the water is an important welfare indicator of the modern society. Because water is used for recreation, transport and food, it is essential to protect the surface water bodies.

It is performed by local governments and respective authorities by establishing regulations and prohibitions in relation to water bodies. These regulations, management and development plans restrict economic and other activity being harmful to water bodies.

Our specialists from the planning section are developing water body protection and management plans in cooperation with local authorities. They are collecting and processing necessary information according to the legislation in force.
