Determination of high-voltage lines and potential damage

Electricity is transferred via air cables, ground and underground cables. High-voltage lines transfer considerable amount of the current, losses of which create financial loss. Technical deficiency is created by bad quality lines and/or physical distance of the consumer from the closest transmission transformer.

High-voltage line damages are determined by high-resolution measurements and line inspections. By processing aerial photos, data on places with most electricity loss are determined.

Aircraft owned by Metrum is equipped with high-resolution camera and laser scanner. Land surveyors are using their tools to set the parameters of high-voltage lines.
